Scaffolding Lift Guardian Farm in Minecraft

Find the 58×58 monument boundary. Align model (0, 0, 0) with world (west edge + 23, Y=56, north edge + 23).

💡 The 10×10 soul-sand pad runs from west + 24 to +33 and north +24 to +33. Model Y + 56 gives world Y. The model reproduces the linked Java 1.20.1 world download.

Remove monument blocks and kelp inside model X=1–10, Z=1–10, from world Y=56 through Y=62. Leave the area flooded.

💡 Only this 10×10 shaft needs clearing. Use water breathing and clear Mining Fatigue by defeating the three elder guardians first if necessary. The rest of the monument and ocean can stay intact.

Replace the floor at world Y=56 with the 10×10 soul-sand square. Keep every water block above it a source block.

💡 This pad sits inside the monument spawn volume. It is not a tank built above the sea. Keep a temporary dirt block at model (6, 0, 5) until the central lift has been converted to sources.

Build the four corner legs and the central eight-block ring from world Y=57 to Y=61. Add the 10×10 scaffolding deck at Y=62, leaving model (6, 6, 5) open.

💡 Place underwater scaffolding so it stays waterlogged. Guardians rise through its underside. The central opening is the start of the bubble lift.

Build the 12×12 glass perimeter at world Y=63 around the deck. The inside remains 10×10.

Extend the eight-block scaffolding ring around model X=6, Z=5 from world Y=63 through Y=99. Leave its middle open for water.

💡 The four sides of the 3×3 tower contain the bubble column. Keep the top at Y=99; the guardians emerge into the chamber at Y=100.

Place the glass supports at world Y=98, then the ten hoppers and three double chests at Y=99. Face the hoppers along the shown paths into the chests.

💡 The four end hoppers point inward (two north, two south); the other six point east into storage. Each double chest has room to open.

At world Y=100, extend the scaffolding toward six lit soul campfires above the hoppers. Add the two-block-high wall perimeter, glass end wall and glass roof at Y=102.

💡 The upper stream carries guardians from the lift over the soul campfires. Leave the fire blocks unwaterlogged and lit. This is an automatic item farm; it gives no player-kill XP.

Copy the source-water positions on the deck and the three sources at the west end of the chamber at Y=101. Fill the central shaft to Y=99, grow kelp up it from temporary dirt, remove the kelp and replace the dirt with soul sand.

💡 Every block of the lift must be a source. Refill any missing sources in the waterlogged tower. Check that a continuous upward bubble column reaches Y=99 before leaving.

From the supported glass bridge at world Y=98, raise the separate scaffolding column at model X=16, Z=5 through Y=184. Surround its top with glass and place the bottom slab at Y=187.

💡 Use the existing side bridge to climb. The glass surrounds the top scaffolding block; the slab above is the phantom shelter.
