Build a low chamber in a Crimson Forest below the Nether roof. Warped fungi scare hoglins into a lava cooker, while a hopper and slab floor protects their drops.
A six-by-six full-block platform is built in an actual Crimson Forest biome below the Nether roof. Two warped fungi repel spawning hoglins toward the open trapdoor edge and a two-block-wide cooking pit. Closed ceiling trapdoors leave 1.8125 blocks of headroom, enough for adult hoglins while excluding taller adult piglins and zombified piglins. Lava sits above bottom slabs over hoppers: hoglins contact the lava, but their drops are collected from below it. A separate spawn-proof path leads to a sheltered AFK platform. This original geometry is untested; below-roof mob-cap control is a major part of the build.
